He/Him

Manager of Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships, The Roots of Music Inc.

Zachary Stanfill is the Manager of Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships at The Roots of Music in New Orleans, LA where he oversees special projects, event planning, assists with fundraising, and is the link between the organization and all its community ties. His duties help The Roots of Music to mentor, teach, transport, feed, and provide elite music training to nearly 200 New Orleans youth on daily basis. Zachary has previously worked as a High School educator and revenue analyst both in New Orleans, and as a fundraiser in Philadelphia for a local nonprofit.

For the past five years since relocating back to New Orleans, he has volunteered through The New Orleans Recreational Department as a youth baseball coach at Pontchartrain Park, the neighborhood park where he was born and raised. Zach is a fifth-generation native New Orleanian and is still very proud to call New Orleans home. In his spare time you can find him debating anyone who does not think LeBron James is the best basketball player ever, insanely cheering on his beloved Saints, hosting Sunday Funday for his three youngest nephews, and/or attending a secondline.
