Shaquita Renelique

Dr. Shaquita Renelique is dedicated to creating learning environments where students feel empowered to discover their identities, cultivate their abilities, and pursue purposeful pathways. Dr. Renelique currently serves as the Associate Dean of University College and Director of First Year Experience and Nontraditional Studies at Arkansas State University.

A proud alumna of Arkansas State University and a lifelong learner, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Master’s degree in Sport Administration, and both a Specialist and Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Dr. Renelique has been married to her husband, Marc, for 15 years, and they have three children: Jordyn, Michael—author of Dribbling Through Challenges—and Journey. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, puzzles, reading and crafting.
