Ravi Simon - 2024 NLC Boston Fellow

Ravi Simon (he/him) is a dedicated public servant who believes that progressive change starts on the local level. He works as the sole legislative staffer for a State Representative in the Massachusetts House, where his most important work involves researching bills, drafting legislation, advocating for policy, and assisting constituents. He has also been a lead organizer for the Massachusetts State House Employee Union, working to ensure that all of his colleagues have fair pay and a safe workplace. In 2023, Ravi ran for local office and won a seat on the Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee.

As Vice-Chair of the Committee, Ravi has brought his perspective to discussions as the only person of color and recent graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury High School to currently serve on the Committee. Ravi graduated from Brandeis University in 2019. In his free time, he loves going to the movies and cooking new recipes.
