Dr. Melanie Desmuke-Battles has over a decade of experience working in education as a K-12 literacy educator, college adjunct faculty member, instructional coach, and educational consultant. The team works relentlessly to support schools, educators, and leaders in cultivating spaces where the climate and culture thrives on the frameworks of social emotional learning, culturally responsive teaching, and culturally responsive leadership. Her mission is to build a community of soul scholars: one who is a lifelong learner and critical thinker.
