Kimberly Barajas - 2026 NLC Los Angeles Fellow

Kimberly Barajas (she/her) is a visualizer and community advocate who believes strong support systems can transform student and family experiences. As Operations Coordinator for BD7, she oversees project coordination, systems, scheduling, events, office operations, stakeholder communication, and facilities support, helping her community thrive. Kimberly earned an associate degree in psychology from Long Beach City College, a bachelor’s degree from CSU Dominguez Hills, and a master’s degree in behavioral analysis from National University. She began her career in Applied Behavioral Analysis, guiding children and families through social skills programs and parent education.

A proud product of LAUSD’s Board District 7, Kimberly remains connected to the community that shaped her. She enjoys traveling with family and friends, attending sports and music, and time with her puggle.
