Kathryn Eklund – Montana

Kathryn Eklund is a climate change activist and connector. She is most passionate about climate change mitigation that emphasizes cultural relativity and builds on the power of communities. She has worked in clean energy and sustainability for the past five years and currently works for HRDC connecting low income families with energy assistance and home weatherization services.

Kathryn attended Eckerd College and graduated in 2017, where she double majored in environmental studies and anthropology, and minored in Spanish. Kathryn lives in Livingston, MT, where she enjoys being active outdoors alongside friends and family.

Born to a ranching family in Buffalo, Wyoming, Kathryn is lucky to have learned the value of working with and being connected to the land from a young age, and is forever grateful to call the West home.
