Karla Moreno

Karla Moreno is a community health and engagement professional dedicated to supporting youth and cultural communities across the Bay Area. She serves as a Community Engagement Specialist with Mosaic America, contributing to the Mosaic Map by gathering community stories and cultural data. Karla is also a Board Member and Treasurer for Grupo De Danza Yolotly Guerrerense, coordinating youth performances and supporting families through culturally rooted programming. Her experience includes event coordination with Kafenia Peace Collective and co-owning Mi Vida Bordada, a cultural secondhand shop honoring Mexican heritage. She's co-founded the Women Wellness Club at SJSU and supported public education through SCC Recycling & HHW.

Karla holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Public Health and enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
