Jorden Jones - 2024 NLC Kentucky Fellow

Jorden Jones is the Executive Director of the Office of Legislative Services for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Education and Labor Cabinet serving all Kentuckians. Jorden returns back to Kentucky after three years in Washington, D.C., at the Wilson Center, a Congressionally-chartered foreign policy think thank. Jorden's experience is in policy, educational programming, and government relations. Jorden joined the Wilson Center in 2020 after several internships including Kentucky's Office for Homeland Security, the Council of State Governments, the U.S. House of Representatives, and time abroad in Amman, Jordan. Jorden served as a Lead for America, American Connection Corps (Americorps) Fellow from 2022-23.

She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Political Science and Sociology where she focused on U.S. foreign and domestic policy, sociopolitical behavior, and Appalachian studies. Her hobbies include browsing the cheese aisle at Whole Foods, watching every new film in theaters, and singing (poorly).
