Dominic Treseler

Dominic Treseler is a policy and legislative advisor for San José City Council District 5, which represents East San José. In this role, he supports work on housing, immigrant rights, community safety and city infrastructure. Before joining the District 5 office, Treseler worked with Winter Consulting, supporting public agencies and community organizations with Community engagement. He has previously served as president of the Cal State Student Association, representing nearly half a million CSU students and advancing statewide initiatives on affordability, academic achievement, and student well-being.

A San José State University political science graduate, Treseler is committed to expanding opportunity for San José residents through data-informed policymaking, inclusive outreach, and coalition building.
