Derrick Holloway - 2024 NLC Atlanta Fellow

Derrick Holloway is a resident of Union City, the fastest growing city in Georgia. He is a Pharmaceutical Vaccines Sales Representative. Derrick is a graduate of Howard University with a B.S. in Chemistry. He completed graduate research at Georgia Tech.

Derrick is active in his local community and community at large. He's participated in grassroots movements and political campaigning. Derrick was recognized by Former Mayor Bill Campbell for his non-profit and Inner-City Community and Economic Development efforts. He currently serves as board member for his Home Owners Association and has been appointed as a Commissioner on his City’s Planning and Zoning Board.

Derrick is passionate about reducing racial disparities in healthcare. He is a Prostate Cancer Advocate, Champion, and lobbyist. He’s concerned about diversity and inequality in urban planning. Derrick has served on National diversity councils, with numerous civic organizations and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
