Daniel Riggs

Daniel Riggs (he/his) graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University - Bloomington. Thereafter, he joined Teach For America in New Bedford, MA, and earned his Master’s of Education from Boston University. In 2019, Daniel completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Monteria, Colombia, and interned for the provincial Education Department. Upon his return, Daniel taught in DC Public Schools as a middle school math & science teacher. In that time, he rose to a Curriculum Lead, earned admittance to the New York Times Learning Network and coached the Ida B. Wells Boys Soccer team to the school’s first-ever city championship.

Now, Daniel is a Senior Educational Consultant at Scoot Education. On the weekends, he loves playing soccer, listening to podcasts and riding Capital Bikeshare.
