Danie Marshall - 2024 NLC Atlanta Fellow

Danie Marshall was born and raised on Atlanta,
GA. She has over 8 years of experience in education in the areas of primary education, curriculum development, and youth participatory action research. Danie’s professional experience includes working as a teacher and researcher at Georgia State University on multiple projects. Her work involves qualitative data collection and analysis, including archiving oral histories of Black women teachers from the South.

Danie received her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Master’s in Elementary Education from Georgia State University and Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University in 2023. Danie is a 2022-2023 SREB Fellow who love to travel, swim, and play dominoes.
