Cherelle Hines - 2026 NLC Washington DC Fellow

Cherelle M. Hines (she/her) is a Manpower Analyst with the National Guard Bureau and a senior enlisted leader in the United States Air Force. She is dedicated to developing the next generation of service members and strengthening their civilian workforce readiness through professional development and leadership. A committed advocate for others, she has led Black and African American employee resource groups and received the 2021 Black Leader of Tomorrow Award from the City of Bloomington.

Cherelle earned her bachelor’s degree in public administration from Franklin University and is currently a master’s candidate in organizational sciences at The George Washington University. Born in Columbus, Ohio and raised by her single mother. She now resides in Alexandria, Virginia, where she enjoys farmers markets and jazz lounges.
