Bernadette Hudgins

Bernadette Hudgins is an older adult advocate. She believes her work is a higher calling and everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life regardless of their age. In Jan 2023, Bernadette was appointed Senior Coordinator for a municipality, providing engaging programming to older adults. Mrs. Hudgins attended Michigan State University for both her bachelor's degree in Human Ecology and master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations. She worked in HR for over 20 years. Bernadette is currently focused on growing her business, Golden Connection Senior Services, offering patient transportation, companionship and technology training. She is a 25 year Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated member holding chapter Chairman positions over the years.

Bernadette is a Founder/Director of JOY Senior Ministry. Mrs. Hudgins lives in Metro Detroit where she enjoys time with her family including 100 yr old grandmother. Her hobbies are singing, making crafts or watching movies.
