Anthony Tordillos - 2024 NLC Silicon Valley Fellow

Anthony Tordillos (he/him) is a software engineer, housing advocate, and community leader based in San José. Anthony was born and raised in Pacific, Washington. He was the first person in his family to graduate college, earning a B.S. in computer science from Yale University in 2014. After moving to Silicon Valley and witnessing the Bay Area’s housing shortage up close, Anthony became invested in working to unwind the policies that have led to the current crisis. A long-time policy wonk, Anthony puts his love of public policy to work representing the Downtown area on the San José Planning Commission, where he advocates for policies to increase affordability, create more vibrant neighborhoods, and improve environmental sustainability. Anthony lives with his husband near San José State University, where he serves as Co-President of the South University Neighborhood Association. In his free time, Anthony is an avid plant collector and hobbyist street photographer.
