Abdurrahman Ajeigbe - 2024 NLC New Jersey Fellow

Abdurrahman Ajeigbe is a committed advocate for expanding college access and improving low-income, first-generation college graduates’ career outcomes. He serves as the Manager for Policy & Advocacy at Braven, a national higher education non-profit that supports first-generation college students in their pursuit of securing strong first jobs. In this role, Abdurrahman advocates for policies and programs address gaps in the college to career pipeline. Prior to Braven, Abdurrahman supported high school students from his hometown, Newark, NJ, navigate the college application and matriculation process.

Abdurrahman holds a B.A. in American Studies from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. Abdurrahman currently resides in Newark and is fiercely committed to serving his community.
