New Leaders Council (NLC) is proud to welcome 10 new members to our National Board of Directors. This expansion marks an important milestone as NLC strengthens its commitment to equipping proximate leaders across the country with the training, community, and support to create lasting change.

“Adding 10 new members to our National Board is more than growth, it is a statement of intent. NLC is building a future where leadership drives social and political change with courage, clarity, and equity at its core.” said Karen Pandy-Cherry, President and CEO.

At NLC, we believe leadership should be bold, justice-driven, and rooted in community. Our growing board will help guide the work of building civic infrastructure, scaling leadership development, and mobilizing thousands of alumni to take on the challenges of our time at a national level.

This moment reflects the next chapter for NLC, one where leadership is not built in isolation but in community. By expanding our National Board, we are strengthening our community leadership movement.
