Neelam Dwivedi – Pittsburgh

Neelam is a Tech Educator and a Practitioner. She is focused on engaging technologists to help shape tech policy through a combination of her industry, teaching, and research experiences. While trained and experienced in software engineering, she finds the field of policy and social sciences deeply engaging and relevant for today's technology-driven world. She believes that all technologists must be educated about how to understand the social implications of the technologies they design. Neelam lives in Pittsburgh, PA and is working as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. She has a PhD in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University. She is also a member of Aspen Tech Policy Hub’s 2021 Tech Executive Leadership Initiative (TELI) and an alumnus of Urban Leaders Fellowship 2021. Neelam enjoys painting portraits and is a member of West Hills Art League (WHAL).
