Julianna Mahieu – Wisconsin

Julianna Mahieu (she/her) is a self-employed hobby farmer and animal advocate. She believes that every animal deserves a voice and quality of life. Throughout her life experiences, she has worked hard to educate others of all species of animals and what their quality of life entails. Along with rescuing and rehoming abandoned, sick, or injured animals. Julianna attended Madison Area Technical College but found her true calling through her hobby farm. For the past 8 years, she has been running her own non-profit farm rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming farm animals. She has also worked with locals and shelters to help rescue and arrange transportation for neglected and stranded animals from natural disasters. Julianna lives in Bluemounds, WI where she enjoys hiking, kayaking, biking, pretty much anything outdoors with her dogs and spouse. She was born in Stoughton, WI but grew up moving all over Southern Wisconsin. She attended 5 different high schools but finally found her home roots when she found her farm 5 years ago. She will forever be an advocate for all animals big and small.
