Dona Bellow – Oakland

Dona Bellow is a tech professional, trained in international human rights and humanitarian law, who has focused her career in Trust & Safety, developing policies, programs, and processes to help keep people safe in online spaces. In this work, she advocates for responsible product development and aspires to lift the voices of society's most vulnerable groups to create more equitable access to the socio-economic opportunities that technology enables. Dona is a proud native of Togo (West Africa), grew up in France, and is raising 2 children in the Bay Area -- she is passionate about travel and learning about other cultures and traditions. As a Black woman, (twice) immigrant and first-generation college/graduate student, she remains sensitive to the experience of those evolving in spaces where they are the minority, and looks forward to creating more opportunities for community voices to be heard, acknowledged and prioritized.
