Yaritza Sandoval Marquez - Chicago
Yaritza Sandoval Marquez (she/her) is passionate about building partnerships across the Chicagoland area that activate diverse stakeholders in supporting youth in the city. As the Director of External Partnerships at Urban Alliance, she recruits and manages job employer partners to host and mentor high school students through paid internships and professional development opportunities.
Before joining Urban Alliance, Yaritza was part of the founding team at Cradles to Crayons where she built more than 50 partnerships with other community-based organizations in efforts to distribute essential items to more than 500,000 Chicagoland kids since its' inception.
Yaritza is a first-generation college graduate from Northwestern University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Center for Change Lives. She was part of the inaugural Community Leadership Corps cohort at the Obama Foundation in 2018 and was selected as a 2022 Civic Leadership Academy Fellow at the University of Chicago.
