Vada Stephens - SW Ohio

Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, Vada is a graduate of Miami University with a variety of experience in local, state, and federal government.

Most notably, Vada served as a Congressional intern for both U.S Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and CBC Chair, Representative Joyce Beatty (D-OH). He was also recently selected as a White House intern for the Biden Harris Administration. Currently, he is the Director of Outreach and Community Affairs for Vice President Hamilton County Commissioner Alicia Reece.

Vada’s involvement includes serving as Vice President of the South West Ohio Young Black Democrats, Executive Committee member for the Hamilton County Democratic Party, and member of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

A fun fact about Vada is that he was a vocal performance major in college. One of his favorite performance moments was receiving the opportunity to sing at the United Nations Headquarters a few years ago.
