Tracy La (she/her) is a community organizer, human rights activist, and campaign strategist. Her upbringing in a large refugee, working-class family guides and shapes all she does. She is the co-founder and executive director of VietRISE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing social justice and building local political power for working-class Vietnamese and immigrant communities in Orange County. Tracy has 9 years of experience as a campaign strategist, organizer, fundraiser, and policy advocate. She has led advocacy and policy campaigns alongside community members for freedom from ICE detention and deportation, local rent control, a redistricting process that engages disenfranchised community members, and more.

Tracy graduated from UCI where she served as the elected ASUCI Student Body President her senior year. In her free time, she volunteers with a grassroots group she co-founded dedicated to helping elect local candidates committed to being champions for bold, progressive change.
