Tanelle Sawyer - Kentucky

Tanelle Sawyer is a big thinker with a natural zest for leadership, innovation, engagement, and empowerment. She believes that communities function and develop at their greatest when valuable educational opportunities are at the forefront. Tanelle serves as the Executive Director of Workforce Talent Development for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and is the President-Elect of the Young Professional Association of Louisville (YPAL). Tanelle has been heavily involved at the intersections of Education and Talent/Workforce development as it relates to Economic Development. Her passions lie in unlocking potential through strategy and development that open doors of advancement for all students. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Murray State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Louisville. Tanelle currently resides in Louisville KY and enjoys international travel, fitness, and reading a good book.
