Tamara Bland


Director of Compliance, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance

Tamara Bland is the Director of Compliance for Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, a national organization designed to meet the needs of professionals in the claims and litigation management industries. Prior to joining CLM, Tamara worked for several large insurers where she gained extensive experience handling personal and commercial claims as well as leading litigation initiatives. Tamara was born and raised in Upstate New York where she learned through dedication and commitment, you can achieve anything. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Psychology from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Tamara continued her studies to receive a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Niagara University. It was through her graduate studies that Tamara uncovered a desire to become an attorney. She went on to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina where she earned a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law. While attending law school during the evening, Tamara worked full time during the day as a Senior Field Special Investigator for Allstate Insurance Company. She also committed countless hours to the NCCU School of Law Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic as well as the North Carolina Innocence Project. Tamara has a genuine passion for serving the community. She is a volunteer judge for the Capital Area Teen Court program, a nonprofit program that gives first-time youthful offenders a second chance. In addition to service to others, Tamara is an automotive enthusiast and loves to travel with her family.
