Stephanie Kidd – Omaha

Stephanie Kidd, Ph.D. (she/her) is passionate about education, advocacy for women, and community building through the arts. She is a graduate of Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Omaha. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Journalism, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, a Master of Arts in Theatre, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration. Stephanie works as the Communications Strategist for UNMC’s UNeTech Institute, Nebraska’s only university-connected startup incubator, where she manages the communications department and writes grants for community-based programming. This year she will develop programming for entrepreneurial women in STEAM and help create a BIPOC incubator for UNeTech. When not working, Stephanie is an active community volunteer. Stephanie is President of the Board for Radio Theatre Omaha, Secretary of the Board for Anastasis Theatre Company, and is an active member of the Junior League of Omaha. She is also proud to be a member of the Women’s Fund of Omaha Circles Class 10. She lives in the Old Market with her sassy cat Trixie and is a self-proclaimed Karaoke Queen.
