Shandrea Murphy-Washington - Arkansas
Shandrea Murphy-Washington is a writer, community organizer, consultant and Arkansas native currently residing in Little Rock, Arkansas. Since 2014, Shandrea’s education and career has centered around creating culturally responsive, healing spaces for Black youth and families in Central Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology alongside a Certification in Nonprofit Management at U of A Little Rock. She then went on to receive her Master of Arts in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service. She currently serves as the Co-Founder of Sankofa Community Strategists, a consulting agency that works to advance racial equity in the State of Arkansas.
She is also a fellow in The Movement Institute, a fellowship through the Foundation for Social Impact. In her free time, Shandrea enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cultivating brave spaces for Black women, girls, and gender expansive people.
