Sarah Brown - Columbus
Sarah Brown, native and immigrant of Panama, is a diversity and equity advocate in creating access to quality education, resources, and services for Ohio’s Latino communities. She currently serves as the Program Officer at the Ohio Hispanic Coalition, a community-based, Latino non-profit organization. Sarah grew up in Central Ohio and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Spanish from The Ohio State University. Ms. Brown is a 2021 Fellow of the City of Columbus’ Department of Neighborhoods’ New American Leadership Academy. Sarah enjoys watching critically-acclaimed films as a member of her local independent cinema. She is passionate about issues that promote the education, awareness, and advancement of women, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and immigrant Latino families.
