Rosa Flores - Sacramento
Rosa Flores (she/her/ella) is a community-builder and public health advocate. She wholeheartedly believes everyone deserves to live a long, healthy, full life. As Director of Programs with the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California (LCHC), she leads the community engagement strategy in the interest of advancing the health and wellbeing of Latino Californians. As the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, Rosa is passionate about uplifting the leadership of immigrant women and youth. A Southern California native, she graduated from San Diego State University in 2013 with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. In 2021, Rosa proudly joined the Board of Directors for My Sister’s House. She currently lives in Sacramento, CA where she enjoys exploring local hiking trails and taking Tahoe daytrips with her photogenic pup, Yuki. A community organizer at heart, Rosa enjoys connecting with others for a good cause and looks forward to contributing in making Sacramento thrive.
