Rebecca Moses - 2024 NLC Houston Fellow

Rebecca Moses (she/her), affectionately known as Becky, resides in New Orleans. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Becky has spent the last thirteen years working in the child welfare, emergency housing, infectious disease, and criminal justice sectors in Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. She is the Centralized Linkage Coordinator for the New Orleans Health Department. Becky received her B.A. and M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and her M.Ed. in Instructional Design from Western Governors University. She is a proud graduate of several leadership development programs, including Public Allies Central Florida and the Philadelphia African American Leadership Development Forum. Becky always says she is her client and strives to present the same growth opportunities her teachers, mentors, and case managers provide. Becky lives by example and allows her authenticity, relatability, and client-centric viewpoint to uplift her service groups to break generational strongholds and create extraordinary futures.
