Olivia Storz - Washington DC
Olivia Storz currently works at Futures Without Violence, focusing on the intersections of workplace and social policy, economic justice and gender-based violence. Olivia has more than five years of experience in frontline advocacy and policy research related to gender-based violence, feminist political representation, economic equality, and sexual health prevention and education. Her work is animated by a politics of critical hope, a commitment to complexity, and an ethics of care. She has also served in the US Peace Corps in Peru and completed ethnographic research in Argentina.
Olivia received her B.A. from the University of Denver, alongside the 2018 University Pioneer Award. She received her M.Sc. with Distinction from the London School of Economics. She is the co-founder of the “Survivor’s Fund,” an innovative cash-assistance program to cover the direct costs of gender-based violence for college students. She loves pickled vegetables, running, and the acknowledgments section of books.
