Munira Dhanani - San Francisco

Munira Kheraj Dhanani (she/her) is a behavioral health and education advocate. She believes that every child deserves access to education through multiple avenues. In her previous role at Mission Graduates, she was working to run an extended day program for marginalized students. In her current role at Kaiser, she works to support behavioral health, specifically in teen mental health. Munira attended the University of California, Irvine for her undergraduate studies and Drexel University for her graduate degree. She has her bachelor's degree in cognitive science and public health and a masters degree in teaching, learning and curriculum with a teaching certificate for early childhood through 4th grade. She enjoys volunteering in early childhood(ECD) and currently trains new ECD teachers. Munira is native to the bay area and currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, where she enjoys meandering through local bookstores and wandering into coffee shops.
