Michael Ankton - Arkansas

Michael L. Ankton (He/Him) is a mentor and community leader. He believes in a brighter tomorrow for the community that he serves in everyday. In his current role as Enrichment Coordinator for the Dawson 21st CCLC After-School Program, he in charge of planning all the enriching activities for students grades K-8. As well he serves part time as a School Bus driver for the local district.

Michael is a senior Social Science Education major at Henderson State University. He is Vice President in SGA, Former HSU General Education Committee Board Member, Asst. Treasurer for the Clark County NAACP, 2nd Vice-Chair of the Clark County Democratic Party, and a Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Michael received the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce Rising Achiever Award and was recently elected Justice of the Peace in Clark County. He believes in a strong work ethic and service above all.
