Mauro Diaz-Hernandez - Rhode Island
Mauro Diaz-Hernandez (He/Him) is currently the Program Administrator with the Yale Center on Climate Change and Health. He joined Yale after working with Higher Edge, a college access and retention non-profit, assisting first-generation students to and through the college application process and to graduation. Among his many roles and identities, he is a first-generation Mexican-American and college grad, volunteer EMT, Climate Reality Corps Leader, board member with the American Public Health Association’s Center for Climate, Health and Equity, and an MPH candidate at the University of Connecticut, with interests in climate and health, environmental justice, and community-based efforts at implementing climate solutions.
