Lori-Ann Clementson - Washington DC
Lori-Ann “LA"" Clementson is a facilitator, educator, and community builder. LA develops strategy to support mission driven organizations by utilizing an equity driven lens that highlights race, gender, and lived experience. As the Senior Strategist for the Social and Economic Justice Leaders, LA facilitates spaces for progressive movement leaders to collaborate as they lengthen the time horizon of their strategic plans. Previously, LA served as a Community School Director where she managed a school’s culture strategy. She has also designed and facilitated equity based workshops for school leaders across New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina. LA is a champion of creating spaces for Black women to be and be inspired, as demonstrated by her brunch based podcast.
Lori-Ann earned her master’s in Sociology and Education with a concentration in policy from Teachers College, Columbia University and a bachelor’s in English and Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies from Tufts University.
