Krystel Castillo - STX Frontera

Krystel Castillo (she/her) is an organizer and voting rights advocate from Laredo, Texas. She believes in ensuring that young people in her community and across Texas have access to civic education and the coaching needed to organize. In her current role at MOVE Texas, Krystel helps to support and guide young leaders in Laredo as they learn about organizing around voter registration, voting rights, and the issues that directly impact young people. She attended Texas A&;M International University and graduated cum laude in 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English. Krystel enjoys discussing organizing in her community with friends, acting in local theatre productions, reading books, and spending time with her family and her pug named Petunia.
