Press Manager, Indivisible Project
Kenny Palmer is the Press Manager for the Indivisible Project, one of the nation's leading progressive grassroots organizations which was founded in the wake of the election of Donald Trump in 2016. Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky and raised in Lake City, SC, he graduated from Furman University with a degree in Political Science and History. From there, he worked in policy and politics for two national health-focused nonprofits tailored to improving the health outcomes for the LGBT community, people living with HIV/AIDS, and people of color. He served as a policy advisor for two Members of the House of Representatives. In North Carolina, he worked as a communications professional for Governor Roy Cooper and the North Carolina Democratic Party. Outside of work, Kenny volunteers his time with Young Democrats of North Carolina. He also co-moderates a peer-to-peer support group for individuals newly diagnosed with HIV as well as help provide critical treatment and prevention services for those who can't afford it.
