Katrina Dupins - Arkansas
Katrina is a professional communicator who enjoys amplifying voices of those who are less likely to be heard.
She believes everyone has something to share that can and will positively impact those around them. Katrina is a former journalist who worked behind the scenes as a video editor, production assistant, field producer and news producer. In 2013, Katrina joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as media relations manager where she worked with journalists to facilitate interviews with UAMS researchers and health care professionals. In that role, she wrote a number of features about people whose circumstances changed their perspective on life. She is now the director of Communications at the University of Central Arkansas and a producer for the Blackbelt Voices podcast. A graduate of Arkansas Tech University, Katrina is married with a son and a daughter. When she’s not writing, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening and photography.
