Karen Dommar - Orlando
Karen Dommar (she/hers) is an immigrant from Venezuela, who moved to the United States looking for the freedom to act, speak and think freely. She completed a Fellowship program with ACLU as a Voter Protection Fellow for the 2022 Mid-Terms Elections and has participated in several political campaigns to motivate Hispanics to raise their voice and defend their rights! One of her passions is to fight for democracy and respect for human dignity.
Karen holds an A.S Computer Science Degree, an A.S in Business Administration Degree, and she is currently pursuing a B.S.B.I.M at Seminole State College. She has spent the last 15 years in the Banking Industry. Karen lives in Central Florida, where she volunteers with several Venezuelan organizations, providing support and guidance to those fleeing her home country, looking for what she found in America over 20 years ago. Karen loves to travel and learn about new cultures.
