Jay Todd Richey (he/him) is a human rights advocate and fundraising professional. As Development Officer for the ACLU of Kentucky, Jay Todd works to meet ambitious fundraising goals to defend and expand the civil rights and civil liberties of all Kentuckians.
Raised in rural Kentucky, he earned a MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in both Political Science and Asian Religions & Cultures from Western Kentucky University. At WKU, he served as Student Body President and Student Regent; received the Mahurin Honors College Scholar of the Year Award; and co-founded the WKU Student Coalition for Renters' Rights to advocate for housing justice in Bowling Green. He is the Vice Chair of the Associate Board of the Coalition for the Homeless in Louisville.
In his free time, Jay Todd loves his Gibson SG, MMORPGs, and rewatching The Mummy (1999).
