Jase Woods - Arkansas

Jase Woods (he/him) received a B.A. in History from the University of Mississippi in 2021. He is a current Teach for America fellow in the Greater Delta region, where he teaches 4th grade. In 2022, he proudly received the Bridge Builder Award for inclusive leadership by his fellow TFA cohort members. In addition, Jase serves on the Gifted and Talented selection committee and co-founded a middle-school quiz bowl team. Recently, Jase worked on the Advance Team for the Chris Jones for Governor campaign where he handled logistics and coordinated with volunteers and activists across the state of Arkansas.

Jase will begin law school in the fall of 2023. He hopes to use his experience in the classroom and on the campaign trail to advocate for actionable, effective solutions in education and economic policy.
