Frank D. Dorsey, II - Arkansas

Frank D. Dorsey, II (he/him) is a university and advocate for the issues of marginalized communities. He is passionate about building inclusive campus climates, ending heteronormativity, and improving the collegiate experience for LGBTQ+ students. In his current role as dean at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, he coordinates comprehensive engagement programs that creates intentional opportunities for students to identify and enhance their leadership potential. Frank attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and graduated in 2014. He has a master’s degree in College Student Personnel (now Student Affairs Administration) from Arkansas Tech University. In 2020, he was recognized as one of the HBCU Buzz's HBCU Top 30 Under 30, which features an extraordinary list of trailblazers and history-makers. Frank lives in Pine Bluff, but also remains connected to his hometown of West Memphis. As a first-generation college graduate, he is committed to strengthening the higher education pipeline.
