Divya Nair (she/her) is community advocate and policy analyst. She believes that social policy is the most efficient when the communities directly impacted are leading the change work. She aims to work in coalition with community members and partners to build an equitable society.
Divya has a B.A. in Gender and Health from the University of Michigan and an MSW in Policy Practice from Columbia University. In her current role at the Economic Progress Institute, she advocates for policies around paid family leave, childcare, and cash assistance. She is passionate about issues related to global migration, gender equity, and critical consciousness.
