Chanel Quick is the Associate Director, Transfer and Diversity Admissions at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She enjoys assisting students from diverse backgrounds with gaining access to higher education. She expands and strengthens partnerships with community colleges through the Aggie Plus co-admissions agreement. She focuses on effective interpersonal relationships, excellent customer service, and personal management of projects. She is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Chanel is a second year doctoral student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She is pursuing a degree in Leadership Studies. She is a Woodland Ellroy Hall fellow. Chanel was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Livingstone College for a Bachelor of Arts in English where she was a recipient of the Presidential scholarship and inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society. After earning her undergraduate degree, she became a middle school and high school English/Language Arts teacher. Her goal was to close the achievement gap for all of her students. Chanel previously served as a Career Coach at North Carolina State University while completing her Master of Arts in Career Counseling at North Carolina Central University. She was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, International Counseling Honor Society. Chanel is the proud mother of three amazing children. Her favorite poet is Maya Angelou. She is a faithful member of Harvest City Church in Greensboro, NC where they love God, love people, and love the city. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, hiking, and traveling.
