Candace Eaton, a native of Bunn, North Carolina, is an Associate in the Marketing Intelligence and Insights function of Reynolds American, Inc. In her role, she specializes in utilizing market and consumer insights to develop business strategies for the organization’s expansive portfolio. Candace is passionate about driving business and has aspirations of serving as an executive leader within the organization. In 2015, Candace earned a B.A. in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. During her matriculation, Candace served in numerous student leadership positions including the Student Government Association and as a Spelman College Student Ambassador. Candace also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa. Upon graduating from Spelman College, Candace enrolled in Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC, as a dual degree program candidate. As a JD/MBA candidate, Candace led several projects in partnership with distinguished companies such as Google, Fiat Chrysler, and the Major League Baseball (MLB). Additionally, Candace was selected to represent Howard University in two national business case competitions hosted by the National Black MBA Association in Detroit, Michigan, and Key Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. Candace also traveled to New Delhi and Bareilly, India to present research focusing on the impact social structures may have on business development. While mastering her studies, Candace served as Executive President of the 2019 MBA class, Vice-President of the Supply Chain Student Association, and Chair of the Howard University Hilltop Policy Board. She graduated in 2019 from Howard University School of Law and School of Business, receiving a Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Candace credits her experiences at Spelman College and Howard University for shaping the dynamic leader she is today, who believes strongly in hard work and strengthening one's community. Candace currently lives in Winston Salem, North Carolina, with her puppy, who is affectionally named Barack Obama. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
