Ashley Cruz – Houston

Ashley Cruz (she/her) is the government relations assistant at Planned Parenthood Texas Votes. She believes every person should have complete ownership when they decide on parenthood. Before entering the non-profit sector, Ashley was heavily involved in progressive campaigns aiming to change policy in Texas, such as Mike Siegel for Congress and Beto O’Rourke for Senate campaign. She found her passion for reproductive justice when she interned for State Representative Jon Rosenthal, where she focused on women's health issues. Ashley lives in Houston, TX, where she enjoys visiting local parks and art museums. Outside of her work, she is a fashion stylist.
