Engagement and Development Manager, Wisconsin Conservation Voters
Angelito Tenorio’s story begins when his parents immigrated to the United States. He and his siblings were born and raised in Milwaukee County. He moved to Madison for his undergraduate studies and quickly became passionate about empowerment, organizing, advocacy, and politics. Angelito was driven to get involved in Wisconsin politics because of his belief that climate change is the most pressing issue of our time. At Wisconsin Conservation Voters, his work has been focused on continuing to fight for justice by empowering supporters, advocating for conservation principles, and holding elected officials accountable. As Engagement and Development Manager at Wisconsin Conservation Voters, Angelito Tenorio works with donors, board members, VIPs, and community members in the Milwaukee area to raise awareness and support for Wisconsin Conservation Voters’ campaigns. Angelito served for three years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. It is a sense of duty and service that motivates Angelito both personally and professionally. Angelito is the Co-chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s AAPI Caucus; he believes in electing leaders who represent our progressive values. Angelito serves as an Alderman in his hometown of West Allis, Wisconsin. He believes in fighting to make his community the best it can be for everyone. Angelito is a proud parent to his puppy, Oliver, and his kitten, Hamilton. He enjoys watching the Badgers, Bucks, Packers, and Brewers. Angelito loves spending time with his family and friends. He likes to travel to new places, and his hobbies include playing basketball and the ukulele.
