Amber Tyus - Chicago

Amber Tyus is an aspiring entrepreneur and a mental health care advocate. She feels that mental health should be as routine and accessible as going to the dentist or primary care physician. As a Services Brand Manager at CDW, she has helped the sales team generate over four million dollars in revenue by running a services funding program. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois and wants to see Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) work together to build better communities for themselves, instead of waiting for legislation to fix issues in her community. Her family is full of entrepreneurs, and she aims to start a small business and use it to help promote mental health in the communities that need it most. Her retirement plan is to live on an self-sustainable farm in a cooperative with those she loves most.
