Alisa Moore – Omaha

Alisa Moore is an Omaha native who grew up in the heart of the city. She enjoys exploring hidden parts of the city and partaking in new experiences with her friends and acquaintances. Alisa has strived to impact her community and feels that this opportunity will aid in her success. As a product of the OPS school system from Kindergarten to twelfth grade, Alisa credits her education for many of her accomplishments in just a short 31 years. After graduating from Omaha North High in 2009, Alisa took her talents to the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2014 and Master’s Degree in 2017. During her time at the University, Alisa joined various organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta, NSSHLA, and NCNW. After receiving her degree, Alisa also joined Urban League Young Professionals, is an active member at Church on Purpose, and continued community service in the metro area. The University of Nebraska at Omaha laid the foundation and paved the way for Alisa’s aspirations in early childhood education. She truly believes that children are the future and her mission is to be a vessel to assist in expanding a child’s mind and help them reach their full potential. Her true passion shines through in the presence of children with the eagerness to learn and grow. Her calling is to help children by encouraging them to further their education.
