Tiffany Galvan is a San Antonio native who learned early on about the injustices in this world by living and working in the community she serves. She noticed the sadness in children’s eyes when they were uprooted from their lives to be placed in an emergency shelter. She noticed kindness and compassion in the homeless people that were grateful for a warm meal. She noticed the families who received donated gifts at a Christmas giving party that would store their wrapped gifts just so that they would have gifts to place under the tree.
As a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Communications, Tiffany has committed herself to be a voice for the voiceless. Her professional training and accomplishments include grant writing, grants management, fundraising, development, donor relations, event planning, account management, social media, public relations, marketing, and capacity building.
As the VP of Development and Programs at San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside (SAGE), Tiffany is passionate about using her love of grant writing to elevate the voices within our historic Eastside. To Tiffany, every story and every marginalized voice is important in order to create a more inclusive and economically viable community.
